In South East Alaskan Native lore, mythical and generous Fog Woman provided the first salmon to Ravens People. Fog Woman Coffee is a provider of hand crafted specialty roast certified organic coffees.
It began high in the Andes mountains of Peru in the year 2004. Women coffee farmers were encouraged to form their own coffee cooperative. The women were already cultivating and harvesting coffee crops but were not receiving much economic gains from their hard labors. By forming their own cooperative; the women had more control over the fruits of their labors and today families that were once struggling are now thriving. Cafe Femenino coffees have helped women and families in Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Rwanda. Fog Woman Coffee has been roasting Cafe Femenino Coffees since 2005.
Our Coffee
A great tasting cup of coffee begins with the certified organic, shade grown beans we carefully select; then we slow roast the coffee.
We do not rush the roasting process. By carefully managing the heat; slow roasting allows the beans flavor to develop while in the end, creating a great smooth cup of coffee, never bitter. Our coffee brews the perfect mystic cup everytime.

Birds & Beans. The kind of coffee we drink has a huge impact on many migratory songbirds. Our Pacific northwestern woodlands are once again enlivened by a symphony of sweet, springtime melodies of songbirds. Already, you can hear a familiar song in our forests. This cheerful, yet melancholy tune belongs to the talented Swainsons Thrush. For a few short weeks during spring and summer we can hear the lovely music of all the Thrush songbirds. The songbirds we hear this season could have wintered over on small family farms that grow our organic coffees. Coffee cultivated on organic farms are interplanted with various trees and shrubs; providing a more bird friendly habitat for our feathered friends. If you must drink coffee, drink Organic Fog Woman Coffee to help preserve migratory songbird habitat.
Fog Woman Coffee sources only certified organic and shade grown coffees. Organic, shade grown coffees taste better; are better for you and the birds and bees thank us too! Inspected by WA State dept Agriculture- Organic Food Program CERTIFICATION #1544
