Community :

Fog Woman Coffee was named after Fog Woman in honor of her spirit and generosity.  One big aspect of our little company is to share and be generous when we can.  We donate our time and resources in these ways...

Cultural / Higher Education:

Winter 2007 - Fog Woman Coffee will award it's first ever college scholarship! This is close to our hearts because we believe in the power of a college education and how it opens doors for so many. We could not do this without your support! Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

UPDATE: January 2008 Fog Woman Coffee awarded it's first scholarship to Tory Shultz of Ketchikan Alaska.  Tory is attending the University of Alaska Southeast in Ketchikan.  Tory is studying to be a teacher.  We congratulate Tory for making a difference in her community and preserving her Haida heritage.

Fall of 2006 Fog Woman Coffee donated funds to the Ketchikan Indian Community to assist with the Cultural Activities Program.  The program helps to fund an after school native arts class where elemenatry school students learn how to weave baskets, bead dance regalia and learn songs.  Our donation went to help pay for supplies needed in making tunics for the winter class project.

Fundraising:

Fog Woman Coffee donates coffee and coffee gift baskets for local school auctions plus cultural and charitable events.  If you have a community fundraising event in Kitsap County, please let us know.  We will be glad to make a  coffee donation.

Social Issues:

For every pound of Peruvian Cafe Femenino sold, Fog Woman Coffee donates .50 cents to the
Cafe Femenino Foundation. The foundation was created out of a need to support women and their families in coffee growing communities around the globe.  The foundation gives a voice for and provides hope to these women and their families.  For updates please visit the foundation web page.   Fog Woman Coffee has been giving back to the foundation since 2006.

Support the Coffee Can project and raise funds for Cafe Femenino Foundations many needed projects.  Visit  www.coffeecan.org and join the Fog Woman Coffee fundraising team!

Conservation:

Preserving land for future generations;

  Note: We are currently researching conservation in Africa.
